In 1982, Bruce Labrecque became sole owner and spent more than 40 years building Mariner’s on a foundation of love, laughter, and community. He often called Mariner’s 'Hammond’s Living Room,' a place where people from all backgrounds could gather, relax, and laissez les bon temps. The restaurant’s historic 1920s building became part of its nautical identity, with ship-like charm and artifacts that tell stories in every corner.
